A 32-year-old woman, a drug dealer, was recently arrested in La Plata, accused of selling drugs at retail and so-called designer drugs through social networks, although she only offered them on weekends. Police sources informed the Argentine News Agency that the arrested woman was identified with the initials I.N.CH.A. following two raids carried out on 44th and 5th Streets in the Buenos Aires capital and on 19th and 50th Streets in the locality of Punta Lara, Ensenada district. Similarly, the woman's partner, identified as A.J.C., 46, was identified during these operations. personnel of the La Plata Delegation of the Superintendence of Investigations of Illegal Drug Trafficking initiated this investigation last November, when officials became aware of a person who would be dedicated to the commercialization of drugs at retail and so-called designer or synthetic drugs, using different social networks for this purpose. However, sales on different platforms were only made on Fridays for a two-hour period and on Saturdays for an hour, and it was also stated that this activity would be carried out in a building located within the urban core of the city of La Plata, on 44th Street, between 4th and 5th. Functional Unit of Instruction and Trial (UFIyJ) number 18, in charge of Hugo Tesón, and Guarantee Court number 5, of Marcela Inés Garmendia, both from the La Plata Judicial Department, ordered different measures for the investigation. Thus, the police carried out undercover operations, as well as focused on obtaining film and photographic material, with which they documented the movements or actions they carried out to sell drugs. In addition, the uniformed officers carried out operations related to the buyers of these substances, which were seized, among which there were ecstasy pills and "crystal." The detainee in question was in charge of what is known as the "pass-through" (middleman), and it was learned that she is from Neuquén and would have settled in La Plata to study. The woman then moved to Punta Lara, Ensenada district, where she would live with her partner in a Volkswagen Amarok pickup truck. In the two raids, officials seized 72.5 grams of marijuana buds, ziploc-type bags with 95.8 grams of "crystal," 399 ecstasy pills with different logos such as Starbucks, Star Wars, Panamá, Balenciaga and Chucky, 4 grams of Tussi in ziploc-type bags and hallucinogenic mushrooms. Additionally, 113,324 pesos in cash, two mobile phones, a scale, more empty hermetically sealed bags, and notes of interest to the case were seized.
